Hopefully the rising popularity of DVD will make widescreen movies commonplace. A couple of years before this strip, David went into a movie store in Tupelo and asked if they had a letterboxed copy of Star Wars. The clerk told him that they usually carried Star Wars in a box, but they didn't have it right then. That store is closed now, and rightfully so.
