This strip was done during the time that Ole Miss had hired a marketing company from "up north" to come in and do a survey about people's feelings about various UM iconography and to make suggestions about changes.

The new title was taken from a letter of complaint the strip received early on in its Daily Mississippian days, which suggested that as an alternative to the "racist" one we were using.
